Yoda vs Lil Dude Darth Vader

I know what you're thinking: "what's going on here?!" right?

Well that's the expression I wanted to convey on Yoda's face - like he's saying "kidding me - are you... what I was expecting - you are not?"

In all seriousness though - this is a result of a collaboration with - who has been creating some impressive 'lil dude' versions of comic and movie characters (go check them out if you haven't already!).

We agreed on the concept - and that I'd paint Yoda in a realistic style to contrast against the cartoon style of lil dude Vader. I also created a background hinting that this meeting took place on Dagobah - I then took Erick's line art of Vader and colored it to tie in with the lighting of the scene for their encounter.
